Selection
Hides are chosen for grain density, not uniformity. Flaws that sit inside the pattern are kept; flaws on the face reject the hide.

Patterns are cut by hand against the grain's direction. One cutter, one form, start to finish.
The A is applied where the form allows: blind-embossed into smoked or black calf, silk-thread embroidered where the surface takes stitch. Never cast. Never plated.
Bars, rings, frames and locks are machined in gunmetal and palladium finishes, cut in small lots, seated by hand. The only shine we permit.
Edges are sanded, dyed, and burnished in passes. Seven passes minimum. The edge is the signature nobody photographs first.
Finished pieces rest forty-eight hours before inspection. Structure settles. Anything that moves is taken apart.

The bench
Typical make is eight to twelve weeks from cleared payment. Rush is not a service we sell.
