Heath Squier founded ANON01 in Carlsbad around a conviction shared by the people who built the house: fashion’s most electric recent years—2000 through 2008—deserved a sharper return.
The low rise, fitted tailoring, exposed structure and unapologetic after-dark attitude are not reproduced as nostalgia. They are recut with permanent materials, exact placement and the hard clarity of California light.

Florence
The first cutting rooms were Florentine. Full-grain calf, cut by hand, edges turned before machines were consulted. The discipline began there: nothing decorative survives the cutting table.
The luggage atelier
Outside Paris, a luggage atelier taught structure — how a form holds itself empty, how weight sits when carried. The Span descends from this teaching. So does the respect for hardware that works.

The atelier moved to Carlsbad, California, where the light is hard and horizontal. It enters the room once a day and leaves nothing ambiguous.
ANON01
Heath Squier founded the house in Carlsbad, but the object—not a surname—remains the signature. The circular A is pressed into hide or stitched in tonal thread so recognition lives in construction, placement and use.
Permanence
No seasons. No editions. Four forms, held constant, made to order. When a form changes, it will be because it was wrong.
